Bonnie 'Prince' Billy & Angel Olsen - Three Questions:  There's not a lot of love for the Now Here's My Plan EP, perhaps because it dredges old songs in new arrangements and people have some kind of FEELING about Oldham?  Whatevs, I have feelings for Angel Olsen, she gets equal billing in my books.

Crnkn - Heart:  Pitch down to the crushing sadness.

Different Sleep - Get Ahead:  We've got your sullen bass, step right up.

Downliners Sekt - Benz:  This is a soundtrack for when we are going to drag a good time out of you.

Emancipator - Natural Cause
Emancipator - Valhalla:  Appropriately moody/grooving downtempo from an album called Dusk to Dawn.

GoldLink - The Heart:  Woah, daddy issues.  Tragic tragic daddy issues.  Ouch.

Haciendo el Mal - Complicado:  From the self-titled album, again I have no idea what is going on here but I am all smiles.

Koloto - Antares:  That back-and-forth glitch filter makes this a deliriously happy bit of IDM sweetness.

Lullatone - The Biggest Pile Of Leaves You Have Ever Seen:  Prepackaged carefree whimsy.  Someone buy this for a bumper on your TV show about an adorable carefree hitchhiker.

Mt. Wolf - Life Size Ghosts (Catching Flies Remix):  Oooo did I mention I loved pitched in vox?

Taylor Deupree - Sleepover:  If you love warm textural ambience I really recommend this album, Lost In The Humming Air (Music Inspired By Harold Budd).  Budd has had a fairly low profile since the 80s, but his influencing tendrils shine here.

The Haxan Cloak - Excavation (Part 2)
The Haxan Cloak - Mara:  Excavation provides that sinister bass sound you always knew you needed.

World Class Art Thieves - All The Time:  Fuck that darkness, time to get up and dance!

Xenia Rubinos - Ultima:  Love the acapella scats all on this one.

Zak Downtown - City's Ours:  Post-West world-conquering ish.
